Verify before you hire
Verify a Florida roofing contractor before you hire.
Use Florida’s official license search to verify a roofing contractor’s status, license number, qualifying information, and public record.
Florida contractor credentials should be checked through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, not accepted from a logo or license number printed on a website. Confirm that the official record matches the company or qualifier and is current for the work being discussed.
Start with the official DBPR search.
Use Florida’s public license search and search by license number, individual, or business. A screenshot can become stale, so rely on the current state record.
Compare more than the number.
- License type and status
- Business or individual name connected to the record
- Qualifier information where shown
- License dates and any public record details
- Whether the license type fits the work being discussed
Understand the limits of verification.
An active license confirms a licensing record. It does not guarantee a particular result, price, schedule, workmanship standard, insurer decision, or dispute outcome. Review the written scope, contract, insurance, references, and payment terms as well.
Genereve’s published records.
Genereve Construction LLC publishes Florida Certified Roofing Contractor license CCC1331926 and Florida Certified General Contractor license CGC1521162. Use the live license links on the GenRoof licenses page to verify them directly.
