When another specialist is needed
A condition inspection has boundaries.
Engineering, destructive testing, mold or environmental testing, code determinations, concealed leak tracing, and other specialty opinions are outside the standard scope unless separately contracted with an appropriately qualified provider.

Is a roofing contractor license the same as a home-inspector license?
No. Florida license types have different scopes. GenRoof will identify the professional performing or reviewing the service and the exact report being delivered for each appointment.
Who performs the inspection?
The appointment confirmation will identify the assigned inspection professional. The finished report will identify the person who performed or reviewed the inspection. Named bios will be published only after credentials and assignments are finalized.
Does the inspection determine code compliance?
No. The standard condition inspection is not a code-compliance determination or municipal permit inspection.
Does GenRoof provide engineering opinions?
No engineering opinion is included unless a qualified engineer is separately engaged and that scope is stated in writing.
Can GenRoof also quote repairs?
A repair or replacement proposal may be requested separately. It is optional and is not part of the paid condition report.
